Lunchtime distraction: video of a day in Montreal

This is great stuff from the expansion Impact, who may be newbies on the field, but this clearly ain’t their first French-Canadian rodeo when it comes to cranking out quality videos.

These are scenes from the sidelines from Saturday’s big talker in Quebec. A crowd of 60,860 set the Canadian soccer record for attendance at a professional match.

The opposition was the Galaxy and David Beckham, the golden Galaxy goose that drives big crowds like Saturday’s. So there’s lots of Becks in the 3 minute, 24-second piece, but it’s all top-shelf, zippy stuff. So well done, guys.

Or as you might say, “Merci!”
