Not to be a name dropper, but did I mention that I’ll be hanging out with a few current and former U.S. women’s national teamers?
Yeah, we’re gonna kick it tomorrow morning. Probably talk some tactics, review some possible personnel choices, go over the tendencies for those first-round Olympic opponents coming up, that kind of stuff.
I mean, there will be several hundred or several thousand soccer-loving buddies hangin’ with us … but, details, details.
So, wanna hang out?
It’s happening tomorrow at 11:30 ET. NBC Olympics is hosting a Google Hangout with U.S. midfielder Megan Rapinoe. NBC soccer analyst Cat Whitehill will moderate the forum, which also includes former U.S. standout Kristine Lilly, equalizersoccer.com’s Jeff Kassouf and myself. (Me, because our resident ProSoccerTalk women’s soccer expert Jenna Pel wasn’t available; but rest assured, Jenna has me well-briefed.)
