Video: Toronto FC striker Danny Koevermans hits in 5th consecutive match


Toronto FC’s Danny Koevermans is on quite the scoring rip.

TFC’s Dutch striker hit another one Saturday against FC Dallas, so he’s scored in five consecutive contests to match a league best for 2012.

San Jose’s Chris Wondolowski is only other MLS goal scorer to have hit in five consecutively this year. I’m checking with the league now, but early record checking says D.C. United’s Raul Diaz Arce has the all-time mark by scoring in seven straight matches.
