Tim Ream, Bolton begin Championship campaign on loss

Jurgen Klinsmann may have moved center back Tim Ream down in the order, but not me. I’m keeping an close PST eye on the guy who I think will re-insert himself into the center back rotation sooner or later.

Ream was in Bolton’s starting 11 Saturday as the Wanderers launched their new day in England’s second tier at Burnley’s Turf Moor. Things didn’t work out well for the center back, who apparently had his good moments and some so-so ones as the team fell, 2-0.

Thing is, in England’s second tier the next chance to prove yourself is never far away. (The Championship sides contest 46 league matches over a season, plus whatever cup contests fall their way.)

So Bolton will be at their ground, the Reebok, on Tuesday to meet Derby County.
