Porto’s Jackson Martínez gives you the best goal you’ll see this weekend

If anybody at the Dragão was still wondering if Porto would miss Hulk, Jackson Martínez put their fear to rest on Saturday.

Midway through the first half against visiting Beira Mar, the Colombian international did this:

Amazing. Absolutely amazing. The control. The (relative) power. The placement. Wow.

Martínez is now up to three goals in four league appearances for the Portuguese champions, but this goal flashes something unexpected. Even those who followed his successful run in Mexico may be a little surprised to see him pull off that kind of goal. In truth, it’s surprising to see anybody execute that shot.

It’s now in the 70th minute at the Dragão with Porto leading Beira Mar 3-0. Amazingly, the commentators are talking about something other than Jackson’s goal.
