Bob Bradley has Egypt rolling toward Brazil 2014

Egypt, under the direction of former U.S. manager Bob Bradley, is cruising in African qualifying for World Cup 2014. The Pharaohs are all but assured a place in final round qualifying after a 4-2 win Sunday over Zimbabwe.

That keeps Bradley’s team perfect in four semifinal-round matches, way atop Group G. That means Guinea, Mozambique and Zimbabwe are about be officially bounced while Egypt books its spot in the final round, which plays out later this year.

The 10 African group winners in this ongoing semifinal round move on, all looking for five spots out of the continent for Brazil 2014. Egypt last qualified for the World Cup in 1990.

Bradley was the U.S. manager from spring of 2007 until late July of 2011. He was named Egyptian manager in September of 2011.
