Video: Bob Bradley discusses how soccer is uniting Egypt

Former US national team coach Bob Bradley is doing extremely well as the Egyptian national team manager.

The Pharaohs are just one playoff series away from making the 2014 World Cup and they haven’t made the big dance since 1990.

New Jersey native Bradley took some time off from his job of leading Egypt to talk to the US media.

Bradley appeared on The Daily Show with comedian John Oliver, and chatted about the many issues in Egypt that have made his job as national team manager incredibly difficult.

A wonderful insight into a coach who is still regarded very highly by fans of the Yanks after astutely leading the US and several MLS sides. If Egypt do make the World Cup next summer, I’m sure plenty of people will be wishing Bradley’s team well.

Below is the two part interview with Bradley, as he talks about the Port Said massacre as well as revolutions and uprisings across Egypt and the Arab region. Absorbing.
