Watch Live: Southampton vs. Crystal Palace (lineups and discuss)

Crystal Palace visit St. Mary’s to face Southampton on Saturday afternoon, hoping desperately for three points that will pull them up from the relegation places (10 a.m. ET; watch live online via NBC Sports Live Extra).

Southampton sit comfortably in seventh place, with two wins, two draws and just one loss — to Norwich — thus far this season. The Saints are on a five match unbeaten run in all competitions, and visit Crystal Palace flying high from their win over Liverpool last weekend, ending the Reds’ excellent start to the season. It was Dejan Lovren who scored the winner, early in the second half.

Palace, meanwhile, have little to smile about. Sure, the newly promoted side beat Sunderland 3-0 a few weeks back, but let’s be honest, who doesn’t beat Sunderland? A 2-0 loss to Manchester United was likely expected, but last week’s 2-0 home loss to Swansea had to be a bit disheartening. Marouane Chamakh retains his place up front for balance, but Cameron Jerome drops to the bench in favor of Dwight Gayle.
