Adnan Januzaj scores not once but twice as Manchester United take the lead

Sunderland surprised by scoring with just five minutes on the clock, but young Adnan Januzaj put Manchester United back into the match by scoring a goal on his first start for the club. Then, in what must feel like a dream for the youngster, Januzaj put in a second less than ten minutes later.

Januzaj, just 18 years old, looked lively in his first start, the only player for the visitors that really looked capable of trying something unique, something that might put the side out of their slump. And so it was only fair that he scored the equalizer ten minutes into the second half. Patrice Evra got himself into a bit of space and put the ball into the area, where Januzaj was waiting to finish it off, sidefooting it in to the far corner of the net.

And then, incredibly, it was Januzaj who put the visitors ahead, seven minutes after his first goal. The Sunderland defense made a hash of a header, with the ball falling perfectly to Januzaj. He hit it on the volley, this time using his left foot to send the ball past Keiren Westwood and into the right corner.
