So Luis Suarez has done it again (allegedly, but let’s be honest, totally), biting an opponent on the shoulder. With no immediate repercussion, it also arguably played a role in his team advancing. Uruguay scored the match-winning goal to eliminate Italy from the group within minutes of Suarez’s chomp on Giorgio Chiellini.
Fortunately when a man bites another man during an athletic contest, Twitter is ripe to do what it does in its finest moments and provide great content (most of it pretty amusing). Let’s take a look at vibes from Alex Morgan, Sacha Kljestan and a load of just plain amusing commenters:
To be fair to Luis Suarez, I can’t resist an Italian sub either.

Suarez is a disgrace. Sad because he’s such an amazing football player but he makes our sport look so stupid.

Having seen it again, it was pretty bad of the Italian guy to shoulder him in the teeth. #soccerbeaver

So glad we don’t have a biter in the women’s game. #ouch

Just caught up via DVR. Luis Suarez is an embarrassment. Which is sad, because he’s also a great player–whose Cup should be over. #URUvITA

Forget about suspensions. It’s way past that. There’s only one way to fix Suarez’ biting problem. pic.twitter.com/bCWOG1W7Rl

After Suarez’s first two bites everyone said, “Yeah, but can he do it at the World Cup?” I guess dreams do come true.

if suarez really wanted to prove he isn’t a racist, he’d bite a black guy every now and again

My neighbors, who are not sports fans, see me outside and yell THAT DUDE BIT A DUDE

A reminder to those looking for an EPL team: Man City have a guy who can also score 30 goals whose vices are injuries & being too beautiful.

To be fair, Italian food is great for athletes to carbo-load. #ITAvsURU pic.twitter.com/9CzoCWNQjE
