The most expensive summer transfer window in Premier League history closed on Monday, as over $1.4 billion was spent on new players.
Many deals were left to the final day of the window, as Deadline Day again sprung plenty of shocks.

The biggest deals were confirmed late, as Radamel Falcao’s loan move to Manchester United and Danny Welbeck’s transfer to Arsenal had to be given extra time to go through.
