All times Eastern:
12:15 – Spurs German midfielder Lewis Holtby, who went to Fulham on loan last year, joins Hamburg on loan for the season.
11:24 – Hull City have confirmed the signing of Abel Hernandez, who is rumored to be the club’s new record signing.
11:03 – Bayern Munich have announced USMNT youngster Julian Green has completed a season-long loan move to Hamburg.
10:45am – Burnley have announced the signing of Chelsea’s Nathan Chalobah.
10:23am – Rumors of QPR moves are starting to churn. BBC’s Ian Dennis is reporting “discussions” for Liverpool’s Fabio Borini, and multiple reports suggest a more likely one that Tottenham’s Sandro is having a medical ahead of a $16 million move.
10:19am – ARSENE WENGER SPOTTED IN HEATHROW AIRPORT! Where could he be headed?!?! Oh….he’s going to referee a charity match in Italy. Well, that’s not exciting at all…
10:15am – A hilarious bit of poor timing has seen Roma striker Mattia Destro possibly rule himself out of any potential transfers today. According to Italian outlet TuttoMercato, Destro decided to plan his wedding on Deadline Day, so getting a hold of him for a transfer may be a touch difficult. It’s still possible something could happen, but that’s an interesting snag for you.
10:02am – The very reliable Sam Tighe of Bleacher Report UK is reporting Aston Villa rumors are off the charts at the moment. According to him, there are rumblings of a fee agreed with West Ham for Mohamed Diame, a move for Manchester United’s Tom Cleverley is still a possibility, they’ve made a bid for Real Sociedad’s Sergio Canales, and Jason Puncheon – linked with Aston Villa earlier – has left Crystal Palace training. There appears to be plenty of movement around Villa Park and fans should clearly expect at least something to happen today.
9:57am – According to The Mirror’s Darren Lewis, Jermain Defoe’s proposed transfer to Queens Park Rangers has hit a snag when the striker asked for wages of $150,000 a week. Seems Tony Fernandes has finally learned his lesson…
9:10am – Ed Aarons of The Guardian is reporting Geoff Cameron could leave Stoke City for Sunderland or Southampton but his club would like to keep him.
