Cristiano Ronaldo’s name just keeps getting linked with a move back to the Premier League.
The Portuguese superstar recently talked about his love for Manchester United and his wish to return, but now his former manager, Jose Mourinho, is set to offer him the chance to play for Chelsea.

According to a report from the Daily Express, Chelsea and Manchester United will do battle for Ronaldo next summer as the winger seeks a move back to England from Real Madrid.
The transfer fee involved is said to be almost $100 million for the reigning World and European player of the year, who seems to have become disenchanted with life at Real. After a summer of transition where the likes of Angel Di Maria and Xabi Alonso left the European champions, Ronaldo criticized the transfer moves and claimed “he would have done things differently.” Ronaldo has since released a statement explaining his comments and gave his full backing to club president Florentino Perez.

After all of that, both Chelsea and Ronaldo’s former team United are readying bids to bring him back to the Premier League next summer. Mourinho and Ronaldo formed a close bond at Real Madrid and the 29-year-old winger may opt for Champions League soccer at Chelsea if United can’t offer it. That said, after recently professing his love for the Red Devils and given their current struggles, can you see Ronaldo returning to Old Trafford and dragging the club back to the top of the PL standings and the UCL?
I’ll leave you with Ronaldo’s recent comments about a potential return to United.
“I love Manchester,” Ronaldo said. “Everyone knows that — I have said it many times. Manchester is in my heart. I left many good friends there, the supporters are amazing and I wish I can come back one day.”
Maybe that day is next summer?
