On Saturday at Villa Park, Danny Welbeck did what he always seems to do against Aston Villa: score.
The England international has now netted four goals in his last three starts against the Villans and he was in inspired during Arsenal’s 3-0 victory at Villa on Saturday.

Welbeck, 23, played through a perfect ball to Mesut Ozil for the opener and just 79 seconds Ozil returned the favor by setting Welbeck up to score his first goal in an Arsenal shirt. Here’s what the former Manchester United forward had to say after the game.
“I’m particularly pleased to get off the mark. It was a good team performance,” Welbeck said. “We got behind them. We knew it would be difficult today. They had their chances but when we took our first one we looked in control of the game. I haven’t had as many training sessions as I ‘d like but I am starting to get to the players a lot better.”
With Ozil scoring for the first time this season and then setting up Welbeck to score in a stunning three-minute spell for the Gunners, the German international looked back to his best. Sure, Arsenal coasted in the second half but they had the right to after putting the game to bed just after the half hour mark.
Welbeck’s link up play with Ozil will be exciting for Arsene Wenger to witness and the longer the duo get to practice and work together, you get the sense that this could be an extremely fruitful partnership for Arsenal this season. With Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott out injured, plus Alexis Sanchez missing out on Saturday, the attacking talent at Wenger’s disposal is frighteningly good.
If Arsenal can limit their injuries and other issues in defense, their attack should handle things if this showing is anything to go by.
