Frank Lampard was shocked after his equalizer against his former club, but not everyone was surprised.
Liverpool players have been tweeting about this morning’s events with fervor, and Lampard’s England teammate Daniel Sturridge took time to recognize the Chelsea legend’s prowess in front of goal, which clearly hasn’t changed despite changing teams.

The 36-year-old scored his first goal for Manchester City in just his second appearance for the club, following 208 goals for the Blues in 626 appearances in all competitions.
No debating that Lampard is a legend, and New York City FC will be lucky to have a man who has plenty left in the tank.
