Goals flying as Manchester United lead Leicester City 2-1 before 20 minutes

Manchester United thought they were easily thorough with a double after 15 minutes, but Leo Ulloa said not so fast as he headed Leicester City back within one.

Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie combined to put Manchester United up early 1-0 as United’s newest member picked up his first assist for his new club and his Dutch strike partner grabbed his season’s first goal.

Then just three minutes later it was the other pair, as Angel Di Maria paired with Wayne Rooney for a lovely chipped goal for the Argentine and a 2-0 lead before the 16th minute mark at King Power Stadium live on CNBC or live online at NBC Sports Live Extra.

The new striker ran uncontested down the left flank and lifted in a pinpoint cross to van Persie lurking at the back post, and the header was an easy one with no one marking the Dutchman.

Louis van Gaal decided to drop Juan Mata in favor of a quadruple of attackers up front, as Wayne Rooney sat deep behind van Persie and Falcao with Di Maria on the wing.

It paid off again as Di Maria burst through the midfield and found a layoff to Rooney in traffic. The English captain touched back to his winger, and the former Real Madrid star cut into the box and completed a lovely chip.

Leicester City have caused top teams problems countless times this season, however, and today is no different as Leo Ulloa got a head to a stellar cross from well out on the wing and slammed it past David De Gea to pull the score to 2-1.
