Premier League Sunday recap: United stunned by Leicester, Chelsea draw Man City

In the fifth Sunday of Premier League action, there were four matches that took place, the most notable one being Manchester United’s collapse against newly-promoted Leicester City in a 5-3 loss.

Angel Di Maria’s dinked an excellent chip to notch another goal in his Red Devils campaign, but four consecutive goals prevented United from seizing any points, another disappointing result for Louis van Gaal and team.

West Brom defeated Tottenham, 1-0, on James Morrison’s goal. Crystal Palace surprisingly edged Everton, 3-2, with Eagles newcomer Fraizer Campbell recording his first goal of the season. Last but not least, veteran Frank Lampard, on loan from new MLS team New York City FC, netted the game-tying score vs. his former club, Manchester City, to finalize a 1-1 draw between the two clubs.
