Lampard is on loan at City from New York City FC ahead of the latter’s entry into Major League Soccer in 2015 and came on as a late sub to set a new record as he has now scored against 39 different teams in the PL. Afterwards he was saluted by both sets of fans at the final whistle, in what could well be one of his final inspirational moments in the Premier League. This award simply couldn’t go anywhere else this weekend. Congrats, Super Frank.
