On Saturday Hull welcome Manchester City to the KC Stadium (Watch live on NBCSN, 10 a.m ET and online via Live Extra) as the Tigers aim for to upset the reigning champions.
In this fixture last season Hull gave the Citizens quite the scare as they pushed Manuel Pellegrini’s side all the way in an entertaining 2-0 win. Vincent Kompany was sent off early in the match but Man City showed plenty of steel to grab a win against a typically physical Hull side.
This season, the Citizens have lost to Stoke City and drawn against Chelsea and Arsenal so far. As things stand they sit five points behind leaders Chelsea and will want to close that gap by beating Hull on Saturday. As for Steve Bruce’s side, they have proved extremely hard to beat but threw away leads in their last two games against West Ham and Newcastle to draw both matches 2-2.
In team news Hull start with Liam Rosenior in place of Stephen Quinn, while Willy Caballero comes in for Joe Hart in goal for Man City in a shock switch.
