WATCH: Burnley manager Dyche dubs big loss to West Brom a “real low day”

Burnley remains winless in the league after getting stomped by West Bromwich Albion 4-0.

They’ve built their team identity around solid defense, and had claimed three straight 0-0 draws heading into the Hawthornes.  Unfortunately, it broke down today mainly on set pieces.

Dyche called today “a real low day performance-wise” and said Burnley “never got to grips with the game at all.”

Fair play to the 43-year-old for telling it like it is, and he also things his team will eventually grab a goal since he thinks they deserve one looking at their second-half play, which was brighter as West Brom sat back to hold their lead.

On the other end, West Brom manager Alan Irvine was obviously delighted with his team’s performance, and is looking forward to building on the three straight wins.
