Earlier on in Russia, Bayern Munich beat CSKA 1-0, and elsewhere in Group E Man City and Roma are deadlocked.

Here’s a roundup of all that’s going on after the first 45 minutes.

Manchester City 1-1 AS Roma

An early penalty from Sergio Aguero gave City the lead but Francesco Totti equalized after 23 minutes in a tight game at the Etihad.

APOEL 1-1 Ajax

The visitors took the lead through Andersen but shortly after Manduca equalized to make it 1-1 at the break.

Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 Barcelona

PSG are in the lead as David Luiz and Marco Verrati have the Parc des Princes rocking. Sandwiched in between that was a stunning team goal finished off by Lionel Messi as a real cracker is playing out in the French capital.

Schalke 0-1 Maribor

The Slovenian minnows are leading away in Gelsenkirchen after Bohar gave them the lead.

Sporting Lisbon 0-1 Chelsea

Chelsea have been all over Sporting with Andre Schurrle unlucky not to give them the lead. Nemanja Matic did with a fine header at the back post as Cesc Fabregas dished out his seventh assist of the season to put Mourinho’s men 1-0 up. Courtois made a couple of nice saves, including one from Algerian forward Islam Slimani.

BATE 2-1 Athletic Bilbao

Polyakov and Karnitski put BATE 2-0 up but Bilbao struck back right on half time through Aduriz to set the second half up perfectly.

Shakhtar Donetsk 0-0 Porto

Not much to report from Ukraine, as both teams are struggling to get going.
