Take a look at the nine matches that took place today in European Championship qualification.
Slovakia 2-1 Spain
In a shocking result, Slovakia stole three points with a late winner from Miloslav Stoch in front of 10,000 fans at their home stadium in Zilina. Juraj Kucka opened the scoring with a dipping free kick that fooled Iker Casillas, forcing Spain to play behind for most of the match. It looked as if the Spaniards had salvaged a point when Paco Alcacer equalized in the 82nd, but Miroslav Stoch’s late header secured a massive victory for the Slovakians.
Casillas has come under fire for poor form lately. Could he have stopped this free kick or should Juraj Kucka get more credit?

The stats say it all. San Marino put ten men behind the ball, but it did little to stop the Three Lions. Utter domination by the English against the weakest team in the world with goals from Jagielka, Rooney, Welbeck, Townsend and an own goal for good measure.
Sweden 1-1 Russia
Fabio Capello’s Russian side went ahead early after an 11th minute strike from Aleksandr Kokorin, but it wasn’t enough to hold off a Zlatan-less Sweden. Ola Toivonen knotted the score at one in the 50th minute with a cool finish as the sides settled for a 1-1 draw in Gothenburg.
