For once, good news regarding injuries continues to roll in for Arsenal.

Earlier on Monday Arsene Wenger revealed that French striker Olivier Giroud will return to fitness earlier than expected after breaking his leg. Now pictures from Arsenal’s training ground show wingers Theo Walcott and Serge Gnabry back in full training.

25-year-old Walcott has been out of action for nine months since rupturing his ACL against Totenham Hostpur in a 2-0 FA Cup third round win back in January 2014. That injury hit Arsenal hard in the second part of the season and cost Walcott a place in England’s 2014 World Cup squad. As for Gnabry, the German teenager also suffered a knee injury back in March and made his long-awaited return to full training alongside Walcott.

With Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil, Mikel Arteta and Matheiu Debuchy currently out injured, plus Giroud on the mend, the dreaded injury bug has struck the Gunners once again this season.

However, with Walcott and Gnabry in full training ahead of Arsenal’s home game against Hull City on Saturday, Gunners fans will be feeling a lot more positive about the strength of their squad with a pivotal stretch of Premier League and UEFA Champions League matches ahead.
