Manchester City boast one of the strongest attacks in the world. The reigning Premier League champions have loads of depth as they currently sit in second place on the PL table.
For CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa, that doesn’t worry him. The Nigerian international called out Manchester City, calling the squad “very weak.”

“As you can see, they are very weak this year. We are going to use that advantage against them. In a couple of games they haven’t been that good. They are very weak in the defense, so we are going to do our best to work against that.”
Although it is not fair to call the Citizens a weak side, they have had their struggles outside of England. They currently sit behind Bayern Munich and AS Roma in their Champions League group, picking up only one point from their first two matches.

City manager Manuel Pellegrini has addressed his team’s poor play in Europe, and has demanded they perform better in Russia.
For Ahmed Musa, he’ll have to back up his words considering Moscow are yet to earn a point while conceding six goals in two matches of Champions League play.

The match will kick off tomorrow in front of an empty Arena Khimki, as CSKA Moscow was barred from having supporters by UEFA after multiple incidents of racism. One of those incidents was directed at Manchester City’s Yaya Toure when the two clubs met last year in the Champions League. Manchester City won both meetings, outscoring Moscow 7-3.
