Leading up to Sunday’s clash of titans, City defender Aleksandar Kolarov has added a little fuel to the fire, claiming his side have been better than United for “the last five or six years.”

It is a great game to watch or play in – I think every player in the world would like to play this game.

United has a great history but in the last five or six years, I think we have been superior to them. It will be a great game to play.

While Manchester City are the defending champions and United are coming off of their worst season ever, the statistics may disprove Kolarov’s statement.

You can debate it all you want, but there is no denying Manchester is up for grabs this weekend. United will look to build off of a strong draw against Chelsea as they head into an always hostile Etihad Stadium, while City will hope to back up Kolarov’s claims as the best team in the city.
