With Week 10 now upon us, there are plenty of close games to call. As you can see from my picks below, I’ve got a nasty splinter from sitting on the fence…

BASICALLY, FREE MONEY
Chelsea vs. QPR – (Saturday, NBCSN, 11 a.m. ET)
Yes, QPR have improved, but they are coming up against a dominant looking Chelsea as Jose Mourinho’s men are loaded with attacking talents. Harry Redknapp’s men will give it a good go, but they extra class of their West London rivals will prove key.
Chelsea 2-0 QPR
Arsenal vs. Burnley – (Saturday , Premier League Extratime, 11 a.m. ET)
Poor old Burnley. The Clarets are without a win through the first nine games and it will almost certainly be 10 as Arsenal look to rack up a big one at the Emirates. Big home win.
Arsenal 4-0 Burnley
Hull City vs. Southampton – (Saturday, Premier League Extratime, 11 a.m. ET)
The Tigers are coming off the back of two impressive draws against Arsenal and Liverpool on the road, but Saints have been somewhat of a bogey team for Steve Bruce’s men over the years. Saints will march on.
Hull 1-2 Southampton
Everton vs. Swansea City– (Saturday, Premier League Extratime, 11 a.m. ET)
Roberto Martinez’s men are on a roll. After two wins on the spin, expect the Toffees to dispose of Swansea at Goodison. Having Ross Barkley back has been key.
Everton 3-1 Swansea City
DON’T TOUCH THIS…
Newcastle vs. Liverpool – (Saturday, NBCSN, 8:45 a,m. ET)
More goals have been scored in this PL fixture than any other in history, and expect plenty of the same on Saturday. Too close to call.
Newcastle 2-2 Liverpool
Stoke City vs. West Ham United – (Saturday, Premier League Extratime, 11 a.m. ET)
This will being a bruising match up at the Britannia. Watch out for plenty of tussling in the penalty box. Both managers would take a point before the match, but can high-flying West Ham keep it going?
Stoke City 1-1 West Ham
Leicester City vs. West Bromwich Albion – (Saturday, Premier League Extratime, 11 a.m. ET)
A feisty Midland’s derby at the King Power Stadium, where the Foxes and Baggies will cancel each other out.
Leicester City 1-1 West Bromwich Albion
“SO YOU’RE TELLING ME THERE’S A CHANCE…”
Manchester City vs. Manchester United – (Sunday, NBCSN, 8:30 a.m. ET)
City have lost two of their last three and are in a slump. United got a last-gasp draw against Chelsea and are unbeaten in four. With Wayne Rooney and Radamel Falcao returning and the Reds looking solid, you get the feeling this could be a result which could really kick them on. Shock in the derby.
Manchester City 1-2 Manchester United
Aston Villa vs. Tottenham Hotspur – (Sunday, NBCSN, Premier League Extratime, 11 a.m. ET)
After five-straight defeats, it may seem crazy to be tipping Villa to win. But I’m doing it. Spurs look so disjointed and the Villains are due a win. At worst they will get a draw. I fancy big Christian Benteke to lead Villa to a massive victory.
Aston Villa 2-1 Tottenham Hotspur
Crystal Palace vs. Sunderland – (Monday, NBCSN, 3 p.m. ET)
Not so much an upset of sorts, but Palace are getting a little wobbly after just two wins this season. This match should get Sunderland back on track as Poyet’s men will surprise everyone and grind out a draw.
Crystal Palace 0-1 Sunderland
