Arsenal 3-0 BurnleyRECAP

The Gunners pulled away late in this one with Alexis Sanchez scoring twice and Calum Chambers netting his first pro goal all in the final 20 minutes. Burnley battled hard, but the newly promoted side are still the only PL team without a win this season.

Chelsea 2-1 QPRRECAP

Oscar curled in a beauty with the outside of his foot to give Chelsea the lead but Jose Mourinho’s side were pegged back by Charlie Austin as QPR threatened to shock the league leaders. However Eden Hazard then won a dubious penalty kick and converted from the spot to give Chelsea a eighth win of the season. They stay top, four points ahead of Saints.

Everton 0-0 Swansea CityRECAP

Wilfried Bony should have put the Swans 1-0 up early, but Tim Howard kept him out. The Toffees pushed for the winner with Aiden McGeady causing plenty of problems but they just couldn’t break through despite Jonjo Shelvey getting a red card late in the game. Stalemate.

Hull City 0-1 SouthamptonRECAP

Victor Wanyama smashed in a 40-yard belter (watch above) to put Saints 1-0 up after three minutes, then Graziano Pelle, Sadio Mane and Shane Long were all guilty of missing good chances. Saints flying after a third-straight shutout win.

Leicester City 0-1 West Bromwich AlbionRECAP

Pretty uneventful match at the King Power Stadium but the game burst into life just after half time as Wes Morgan’s attempted clearance hit his own player, Esteban Cambiasso, and went in. That was enough for the Baggies to nick all three points. Four defeats in five for the Foxes.

Newcastle 1-0 LiverpoolRECAP

Ayoze Perez was the hero on Tyneside. The little man popped up late in the game to give Newcastle the lead as Liverpool’s slump continues. Two-straight games without scoring for the Reds as the Magpies won their fourth-straight match in all competitions.

Stoke City 2-2 West Ham – RECAP

Victor Moses put the Potters 1-0 up  after some poor defending from the Hammers in the first half, then Mame Diouf made it 2-0 in the second half. The Hammers look dead and buried by goals from Enner Valencia and Stewart Downing made it 2-2 in an pulsating clash at the Britannia. Neither team deserved to lose. Great game.
