Lineups are in for the LA Galaxy and Seattle SoundersWestern Conference Championship first-leg matchup (5 pm ET) at the StubHub Center in beautiful, sunny Carson, CA.

The Sounders find themselves without midfield destroyer and fulcrum Osvaldo Alonso (hamstring injury), making the already difficult task of stifling the potent Galaxy attack (69 goals during the regular season) even more so. Lamar Neagle (personal matter) is also absent from Sigi Schmid’s starting 11 and bench.

These two sides met during back-to-back weeks at the tail-end of the 2014 regular season with the Supporters Shield on the line. The Sounders drew the first game away from home, 2-2, and won the following week, 2-0. The Galaxy won the two teams’ first meeting of the year, 3-0, at CenturyLink Field on July 28.

But none of those meetings had a place in the 2014 MLS Cup final on the line.
