Brazilian soccer great Pele has been readmitted to the hospital for a reported urinary infection, just 12 days after undergoing surgery for kidney stones.
According to a spokesperson for the hospital, Pele has been admitted, but the person didn’t specify the reason for his admission. Local media reported the complication.

At 74 years old, Pele was set to release his book a few days ago before being admitted for kidney stones. He had surgery and was released a few days later, just over a week ago.
The spokesperson only said he was there for a “medical evaluation” and is in “stable” condition.
FIFA named Pele footballer of the 20th century, and the Brazilian has won the World Cup three times.
