[ PREVIEW: Manchester United vs. Hull City ]
Louis van Gaal will be pleased to have Rojo return to the back line after dislocating his shoulder in the Manchester Derby earlier this month. Despite the strong play of youngsters Paddy McNair and Tyler Blackett in Rojo’s absence, having the Argentinian back in the fold is a huge boost for United.
For Radamel Falcao, the start to his career in Manchester has not gone as planned. Continuous battles with injury have limited the Colombian striker to only five league appearances, while he hasn’t played since October with his most recent setback.
If Falcao can finally find his form, United would be given a huge boost in their battle to stay in the top four. Especially considering the poor play of Robin van Persie as of late, adding another goalscoring threat would be massive for Louis van Gaal’s men.
While United will welcome back Falcao and Rojo, they will be without Luke Shaw for a few weeks after the defender suffered ligament damage in the match against Arsenal.
Daley Blind was given the weekend off by his manager to rest after taking a knock while on international duty with the Netherlands.
