Following his side’s 2-0 victory over Hull City, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was very pleased with the way his side has responded — a pair of victories, one in the Champions League and the other back in the league, in four days — since losing their first Premier League game last Saturday.
When asked how well his side had bounced back from the defeat to Newcastle United, the Portuguese mind-game master responded simply, “Two victories.”

Mourinho was also quick to keep things in perspective, declaring his team hadn’t performed “in a special way” as they have on a number of occasions this season, but also that he was pleased with a performance he deemed “good enough.”
