VIDEO: Poor finishing is “frustrating” for Rodgers after 3-0 loss


Brendan Rodgers was frustrated but tactful following the 3-0 loss to Manchester United, describing his finishing as “frustrating” but praising opposing goalkeeper David de Gea for his stellar performance.

The Liverpool manager said “we haven’t scored nearly enough goals, we haven’t created nearly enough chances” as his team failed to pick up any more than two wins in its last nine games.

Despite seeming practical and methodical, Rodgers had few answers other than “we have to get better” and when prodded, he refused to suggest any further changes to either the starting lineup or the tactical approach going forward.
