Tim Howard has released his new autobiography, entitled “The Keeper”, and the Everton netminder sat down to talk about it contents on the NBC Premier League set.
“I’ve had some really good experiences, some tough experience,” Howard said on his ascent and overall career in the Premier League. “But they’ve all in the end been really positive. I was excited to write a book, kind of get it all down.”
He specifically addressed his strained relationship with fellow American goalkeeper Brad Friedel in this 94-second segment.
“Brad and I don’t see eye-to-eye on a few of the facts….The one thing I was disappointed with Brad, I was a 23-year-old kid who came over to England and needed help getting a work permit. I asked a lot of players and coaches to sign recommendations for me, and he was the only one not to.”
