Arsene Wenger could be adding another Frenchman to his squad this January.
Reports suggest that Newcastle’s Moussa Sissoko is on Arsenal’s wishlist.

The Daily Mirror’s resident Arsenal reporter and fan, John Cross, claims that the Gunners are weighing up a $25 million move for Sissoko in January with Arsenal said to have $30 million to spend in the window.
Adding more fuel to the fire, last weekend Sissoko revealed that Arsenal were his favorite club growing up.
“I have ambition. My goal is to play at the best clubs, playing the Champions League, win trophies, but today I am a Magpie and I am very happy. Arsenal were my favorite club when I was young and my idol was Patrick Vieira. I have always loved this club and I still love them.”
Will Sissoko be following in Vieira’s footsteps at Arsenal?
The 25-year-old midfielder has been deployed in a more attacking role for the Magpies this season, scoring twice in 19 games, but is capable of playing out wide or as a holding midfielder.
Sissoko, a French international, has excelled at St James’ Park since arriving from Tolouse in 2013 and with the Gunners hunting around for a holding midfielder it seems like the duo could be a match made in heaven.
