Despite getting injured on December 6th and missing Manchester City’s past three games, Sergio Aguero is still the Premier League Player of the Year (so far).
Aguero leads the Premier League in scoring with 14 goals in 15 matches, as he continues to keep up his ridiculous strike-rate. The 26-year-old Argentine has tallied 66 times in 102 league appearances, none more important than his 94th minute winner against QPR to earn City the Premier League title in 2012.
While he has constantly battled injuries throughout his time at City, Aguero seemingly never stops scoring when healthy. He has already compiled the deadliest strike-rate in Premier League history, scoring a goal about every 105 minutes.

Originally thought to be out until late January with a knee injury, Aguero could be back in the Citizens’ lineup as early as January 10th against Everton. That would be a massive boost for Manuel Pellegrini’s side which has been without a true striker as Aguero, Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic are all out with injury.
