If there’s two things that Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp loves, it’s signing players during the transfer window and schmoozing with the British press.

Speaking in post-game interviews following QPR’s 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace on Sunday, Redknapp sounded primed for a January transfer full of both. The 67-year-old joked that Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero might just be the piece his side is missing (above video). Much to his chagrin, there were no laughs at the obvious attempt at humor.
Redknapp was, however, quite pleased with QPR’s performance against what he calls “a decent team.” He went on to say, “I’ve seen a lot of (Crystal) Palace this year and I’ve never really seen them play badly.” Sunday’s point puts QPR into 15th in the Premier League, two points clear of the relegation zone.
