Hull and Liverpool are both 2-0 up, while Newcastle, Southampton and QPR are also ahead.

Aston Villa 0-0 Crystal Palace

Yannick Bolasie hit the crossbar in a fairly uneventful game so far. Alan Pardew is watching from the stands, as he is expected to take over at Palace shortly.

Hull 2-0 Everton

The Tigers are ahead as goals from Elmohamady and Nikica Jelavic have Everton struggling up at the KC Stadium.

Liverpool 2-0 Leicester City

Steven Gerrard has scored two penalty kicks to put the Reds in a commanding position at the break.

Newcastle United 2-1 Burnley

The Magpies went ahead through Steven Taylor but an own goal from Paul Dummett made it 1-1. Burnley have had three injuries in the first half which hampered their progress and Jack Colback put Newcastle ahead at the break.

QPR 1-0 Swansea City

Leroy Fer’s stunner from distance is the difference so far at Loftus Road, although Rob Green looked to have handled outside the box in a real moment of controversy early on.

Manchester City 0-0 Sunderland

Bit of a slow burner at the Etihad Stadium as David Silva has gone close for City and Sunderland almost took the lead through Sebastian Larsson.

Southampton 1-0 Arsenal

In the battle for fourth place Saints are ahead as Sadio Mane lobbed home. Can Saints hold on?

West Ham United 1-1 West Bromwich Albion

The Hammers went ahead through Diafra Sakho but Saido Berahino made it 1-1.
