The response of which Martinez speaks came just four minutes later, as Steven Naismith equalized and won a point for the Toffees.
Following four consecutive Premier League defeats, Saturday’s point will undoubtedly feel good for Martinez and Co., but they’ll remain well aware they still sit in 12th place, just three points above the relegation zone and a dozen points off the European qualification places.
