A game with very little fanfare lived down to expectations, as a relegation scrap between West Brom and Hull City yielded a single goal on one of the game’s scant chances.
Tony Pulis and West Brom won’t sweat it, though, as Saido Berahino lifted the club two points shy of the drop zone with a 1-0 win at the Hawthorns.
Hull is only out of the drop zone on goal difference by virtue of QPR’s minus-14 and the Tigers’ minus-7.

There were just four shots on frame in the first 75 minutes before Berahino struck gold.
Victor Anichebe teed up a short free kick for Berahino, who hammered a shot through traffic and into the goal. Pulis’ men had real hope for three big home points.
