After signing a three-and-a-half year deal with Sunderland on Friday, following the swap deal for Jozy Altidore with Toronto FC, Jermain Defoe spoke to the club website about making the move back to the Premier League from Major League Soccer.
Defoe, 32, spent just one season in MLS with Toronto FC and revealed that he “missed” the Premier League and called it the “best league in the world.”
