One of the most sought after players in Europe is officially off the market.

Mino Raiola, the famous super-agent who represents Paul Pogba, has said his client will not move from Juventus during the January transfer window.

The 21-year-old midfielder has been linked with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United, but those clubs will have to wait until the summer to try and sign him.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Raoila said Pogba is committed to Juventus for now, but could be headed elsewhere after the season.

Paul renewed his contract in Italy. There is a five-year deal with Juventus and what June and July brings, we will see in June and July.

He will stay here this window in Italy and after that it’s also up to Juventus and up to himself to see what are the possibilities and what are the things to do.

I have been in football long enough to say that I cannot foresee the future. Today Paul Pogba is the most expensive player if he would be on the market – that’s the risk, that’s normal; there are only a few clubs that can afford him.

With his choice of words, it seems evident that Pogba will leave Juventus at the season’s end. It is reported that the midfielder will cost around $75 million as he is one of the brightest talents in the world, being named Europe’s best midfielder under the age of 21 in 2013, as well as being named the Best Young Player at the World Cup this summer after representing France.

His agent acknowledged the high price tag, stating “Everybody that knows a little bit about football knows that there are only eight clubs that can afford him. That’s the eight clubs that will get into the scramble or the battle to have him.”

For Pogba, these next few months could be crucial as a strong finish to his campaign at Juve could add big dollars to his value moving forward.
