What a day in the FA Cup as upsets came in from all over England in a poor showing for Premier League clubs.

Defending Premier League champions Manchester City were held scoreless at the Etihad as they lost 2-0 to Championship side Middlesbrough. It was a sloppy match for the City as they were outplayed and out-hustled throughout the second half as Middlesbrough truly did deserve the win.
Somehow, that was not the most shocking result of the day.
That honor goes to Bradford City, who rallied from 2-0 down to beat Chelsea 4-2. The Bantams play in the third-tier of English football and hadn’t won a match at Stamford Bridge since 1912, but that changed today after a miraculous performance by Bradford. Down 2-1 at the half, Bradford City scored three second-half goals to leave Chelsea supporters with their jaws on the floor as the Premier League leaders were eliminated from the FA Cup.
Southampton also lost at home, although to a Premier League opponent in Crystal Palace. All the action took place in a wild first half that saw five goals scored. Southampton twice had the lead at 1-0 and 2-1, but a brace from Marouane Chamakh and another for Yaya Sanogo saw the Eagles take a 3-2 lead into the break. Palace held on for the win, and are now undefeated under the leadership of Alan Pardew.
Leicester City shocked Tottenham at White Hart Lane, scoring twice in the final ten minutes to beat Spurs 2-1. Andros Townsend had given Spurs the lead from the penalty spot in the first half, but Leonardo Ulloa leveled in the 83rd minute before Jeffrey Schlupp stole a win for the Foxes deep into stoppage time.
Swansea City was knocked out of the competition, losing 3-1 to Championship side Blackburn Rovers. Gylfi Sigurdsson opened the scoring with a thunderous strike, but two red cards saw the Swans down to nine men by the end of the match, conceding three goals in a disappointing result for Garry Monk’s men.
Below are all the results from the third round of play so far. Matches that ended in a draw will have a replay to determine which team advances, and four Premier League teams have FA Cup matches still to come this weekend.
