Gylfi Sigurdsson is in the midst of a breakout season for Swansea City.
The Icelandic midfielder is currently second in the Premier League with eight assists, and has also added four goals on the season.
Sigurdsson has become known for his free-kick taking skills and his ability to strike from distance, which was on full display in the Swans’ FA Cup match against Blackburn Rovers.
Watch Sigurdsson open the scoring in the 21st minute with an absolute laser from quite a few yards out.
Unfortunately for Sigurdsson and the Swans, Championship side Blackburn went on to score three goals and knock the Welsh side out of the FA Cup.

Swansea was forced to play with 10-men for pretty much the entire match as defender Kyle Bartley was sent off for a reckless challenge just six minutes in. Despite going ahead, Blackburn equalized just two minutes after Sigurdsson’s goal, and tallied twice late in the match to stun the Swans.
