With less than a week left in the window, here’s the latest gossip from the rumor mill…

Chelsea can have Juan Cuadrado for $40 million. That’s what Fiorentina’s manager Vincenzo Montella has told Sky Sports on Wednesday as Cuadrado, 24, has a release clause for that amount in his contract. Montella claimed the Colombian winger has all the attributes needed to succeed in the Premier League but he would not leave La Viola for a penny less than they deserve.

Asked if Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah could be used as a make-weight in the deal, Montella declined to comment but did say he admired Salah’s skill. Watch this space.

The Daily Mirror reports that QPR are after Crystal Palace forward Frazier Campbell as they aim to send midfielder Jordon Mutch the opposite way. Campbell, 27, finds himself on the outside looking in as Yaya Sanogo has been brought in by Alan Pardew during the January window. Harry Redknapp is after some more firepower to help aid QPR’s scrap against relegation and is willing to let Mutch leave Loftus Road for around $8 million to end his injury-hit spell in west London after arriving from Cardiff City in the summer.

Southampton are in for a pair of Dutch midfielders, as Ronald Koeman is reportedly ready to raid former club Feyenoord for Jordy Clasie and Tonny Vilhena. The Daily Mail claim that Vilhena is being lined up as a replacement for Jack Cork, as the central midfielder is out of contract this summer and continues to stall on a new deal. The Mail also believes that Saints could bring in young center backs Terence Kongolo and Sven van Beek from Feyenoord as Koeman’s Dutch revolution continues to gather steam at St Mary’s. Hup!

West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison is on his way out of Upton Park after traveling to Italy to sign a pre-contract agreement with Lazio. Morrison, 21, has sublime talent but various issues off the pitch over the years has curtailed the progress of the England U-21 international. The Telegraph reports that the former Manchester United youth team star is set to see out his deal with the Hammers until the summer and will then head to Rome on a free transfer.
