Daniel Sturridge is back in the Liverpool squad for the first-time since Aug. 31 as the England international was named in Brendan Rodgers’ 18-man squad for their game against West Ham United at Anfield on Saturday.

Sturridge, 25, has spent the last five months out with various issues after injuries to both his thigh and calf muscles, as the former Man City and Chelsea forward spent time rehabbing in the United States to speed up his recovery.
With Liverpool currently on a six-game unbeaten run in the Premier League and making a real charge towards the top four, having their top striker back available will provide a huge boost for the Reds.
The man who scored 21 PL goals last season is on the bench against the Hammers, so expect to hear a huge roar from the Kop if and when he comes on to make his first appearance since last August.
