Week 24 is here as the PL returns and there are two big derbies taking center stage this weekend.

With that in mind, it’s time to throw out some predictions for the 10 Premier League matches taking place.

I’ve consulted my crystal ball and here’s how we see things panning out…

BASICALLY, FREE MONEY

Aston Villa 0-2 Chelsea – (Saturday, 10 a.m. ET, NBCSN)

Even without Diego Costa, Chelsea should dispatch the Villains quite easily. Villa haven’t scored in six games and they won’t get any joy against Mourinho’s boys.

QPR 1-3 Southampton – (Saturday, 10 a.m. ET, Premier League Extratime)

Harry Redknapp is gone and the R’s are in turmoil. Saints will take advantage of that as Ronald Koeman will expect a reaction from his side following their shock defeat to Swansea.

West Ham United 1-3 Manchester United – (Sunday, 11:15 a.m. ET, NBCSN)

The Hammers’ top four hopes are slowly evaporating and they will take another hit on Sunday. United’s offense is firing after two-straight wins. Expect them to leave east London with a W this weekend to stay in third.

Manchester City 3-1 Hull City – (Saturday, 10 a.m. ET, Premier League Extratime)

City haven’t won in three PL matches… That poor run of form will end this weekend. Hull have been abysmal lately and were booed off during their home defeat to Newcastle. Easy home win.

DON’T TOUCH THIS…

Burnley 1-1 West Bromwich Albion  – (Sunday, 7 a.m. ET, NBCSN)

A real relegation six-pointer at Turf Moor. Expect a tight, tense game as both teams will have to settle for a point in their pursuit to beat the drop.

Everton 2-2 Liverpool – (Saturday, 12:30 p.m. ET, NBC)

Steven Gerrard’s final Merseyside derby is set to be a cracker. Everton are much improved at the back and Liverpool are unbeaten in seven, with Daniel Sturridge back fit and scoring. Expect goals galore.

Leicester City 1-2 Crystal Palace – (Saturday, 10 a.m. ET, Premier League Extratime)

Tough one to call. Rock bottom Leicester really need to win this one to pull Palace right back into the relegation battle. But if I had to pick one side, Palace will shade it.

Swansea City 2-1 Sunderland – (Saturday, 10 a.m. ET, Premier League Extratime)

The Swans were great at the back against Saints and will need to do the same to keep Jermain Defoe quiet. The home side will shade this one in South Wales.

“SO YOU’RE TELLING ME THERE’S A CHANCE…”

Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Arsenal – (Saturday, 7:45 a.m. ET, NBCSN)

Arsenal have won five of their last six and are on a roll. However, with home field advantage and a fired up Harry Kane with a new contract, Spurs are set to rule north London with a massive derby win to enhance their top four chances.

Newcastle United 1-2 Stoke City – (Sunday, 9:05 a.m. ET, NBCSN)

Mark Hughes’ side have win two-straight and are making a real charge towards the top six. Newcastle won for the first time under John Carver last week but inconsistency will riddle the Magpies between now and the end of the season. Perfect chance for Stoke to make it three wins on the spin.
