Nigel Pearson is still the manager of Leicester City Football Club.
It was reported this morning that Pearson was sacked by the club, but in a turn of events, the controversial manager is still in charge.

The club released an official statement denying the sacking of Pearson, and said the manager and his staff are focused on the match against Arsenal.
Contrary to media speculation on Sunday evening, Nigel remains the Club’s First Team Manager. Reports to the contrary are inaccurate and without foundation.
Nigel, his staff and the first team squad are entirely focused on Tuesday night’s trip to Arsenal and our continued efforts to secure our position in the Barclays Premier League.
Earlier reports of Pearson’s dismissal came after an incident against Crystal Palace in which Pearson appeared to choke James McArthur on the sidelines, an ugly scene that is just one of multiple incidents the manager has been involved in this year.
It’s a strange situation at the King Power stadium, as the team remains glued to the bottom of the table. No matter who is in charge, the Foxes need to start winning games.
