Geoff Cameron came off the bench to provide the game-tying assist in Stoke City’s 1-1 draw against Newcastle over the weekend.
The USMNT defender came on in the second half for the Potters and sent a beautiful cross into the box that found the head of Peter Crouch in the 90th minute to steal a point for Stoke City.

Despite earning a point, Cameron was disappointed with the result, specifically a controversial non-call against Newcastle’s Jack Colback.
Already on a yellow card, Colback seemed to have made a challenge that had him destined for the locker room, but referee Kevin Friend chose not to book the midfielder. Adding insult to injury, Colback went on to score Newcastle’s lone goal.
With the draw, Stoke City sit in tenth place on the table with 14 matches to play.
