Chelsea host Everton at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday (Watch live, 2:45 ET on NBCSN and online via Live Extra) as Jose Mourinho’s Blues continue the long slog toward reclaiming the Premier League title.
Chelsea, who currently hold a seven-point lead on second-placed Manchester City, beat Aston Villa over the weekend, while Everton drew 0-0 at home against Liverpool in the Merseyside derby.
Chelsea have a mostly clean bill of health at the moment as only John Obi Mikel (knee) is unavailable through injury. Meanwhile, Tim Howard (calf) returns to goal for Everton after missing the Toffees’ last six league games, but defender Leighton Baines (knee) is once again unavailable. Midfielder Aiden McGeady (knee) is the other big injury omission for Roberto Martinez’s side.
