And that’s what Hakan Calhanoglu provided, as the Bayer Leverkusen attacker scored the first goal against Atlei in six UCL matches to give the German club a 1-0 lead it would not relinquish during the first leg of their Round of 16 tie.

Atleti closed down Karim Bellarabi inside the 18, but the German wizard back heeled the ball to a darting Calhanoglu. The 21-year-old Turkish national teamer made no doubt, sending a spear into the goal.
